SPACE. Something that we all desire but it’s not always achievable in our tiny Lil red dot. Our current BTO units are smaller in space, leading to people requiring the addition of space. The common practice is to build a feature wall and storage cabinet to conceal the bomb shelter door. We did that but we changed it, as you can see from the images, we added a round edge to the feature wall, the idea behind adding a round edge was to create a smooth feel. On top of this, the round edges make it instant child-proof, benefiting our clients with children! The addition of fluted panels gave the masculine black walls life, adding personality to a usually dull color. Another main design in the house was the choice of lights used - the spotlights and wall lights are specifically chosen by the designer to give off a warm welcoming and cozy vibe. Bringing out the modern contemporary theme that our client wanted. You can’t help but notice the raw finished-looking cement flooring, it is a selection from vinyl flooring to match the white walls and black solid laminates.
